Biography
Karen Moe is photographer and performance artist who has exhibited across Canada. Her work has been included in a variety of magazines and journals like West Coast Line and Subterrain. Her photographs have also been featured in two books of poetry: “Cusp/ detritus: an experiment in alleyways” with poet Catherine Owen (Anvil Press 2006) and “Dog” with poets Joe Rosenblatt and Catherine Owen (Mansfield Press 2008). She recently performed “Lethe: a mock metaphysics” in New York City at The Vagina Festival and exhibited “Lethe/ Detritus” at Gallery DK in Toronto. She will also be included in a group show in Toronto’s gallery festival Nuit Blanche in October. Karen lives and works in Vancouver, B.C.
