Cheryl Fortier’s paintings are informed by her love of the outdoors. West coast colours and the warmth of the light inspire Cheryl’s palette. She approaches each piece with spontaneity and skill using a diverse array of materials - whatever it takes to allow her idea to reveal itself. Some of the pieces are large in scale and allow viewers to immerse themselves in the experience.
