Vancouver based Children’s performer, Dustin Anderson, has turned his birthday party character, The Purple Pirate, into a national sensation. Purple Pirate Entertainment started in 1999 as a way for Dustin to supplement his income as a contemporary dancer. In 2002, with growing success as a children’s performer, Dustin retired from dance to focus on the Purple Pirate and developing shows with a message of active living.

Dustin uses dance, comedy, and interaction to engage his elementary school audiences and plant the seeds of active living. He also performs for corporate holiday parties, picnics, festivals, daycares, and birthday parties.
